The process of selling a home can be broken down into in to these simple terms.
Here is a check list for the home seller.
Clean and de-clutter
Make rooms look larger and brighter by eliminating over-sized furniture.
Remove anything that doesn’t fit a room’s purpose like exercise equipment in the office.
When cleaning, don’t forget to do the window treatments, rugs and carpets and wash the windows.
Improve curb appeal.
Give the landscaping a good cleaning and pruning. Paint the front door.
Consider staging the home instead of showing vacant.
Make necessary repairs. Have the home professionally inspected before putting it on the market to avoid problems in escrow.
